Development of New Communities

Developing and operating high quality communities is key to Abbington’s success.

  • • Abbington has an experienced internal development team which focuses on the development and construction of new communities.
  • • Abbington oversees all aspects of development from site selection, coordination with cities, state and local health departments, overseeing the construction process, and all pre-opening and permits and licenses required for opening.
  • • Abbington partners with reputable construction companies that builds, reviews and/or consults with each project to help keep construction costs down and provide an overall high quality senior community.
  • • Abbington has partnered with construction companies that have built multiple assisted living projects as well as numerous other multi-family and residential communities.
